Rise to who you
truly are.

There is more life available to you than the life you have been repeating.

Tikkun Ascend is a 14-day immersive experience for men ready to get free from the patterns that have been running their lives, reconnect with who they are, remember what they are here for, and begin living from that place.

What becomes possible

What if you actually wanted to be in your own life?

Imagine waking up and not immediately needing to get away from yourself.

  • Imagine trusting your own word again.
  • Saying you are going to do something—and beginning to believe yourself when you say it.
  • Imagine feeling fear without letting fear make the decision.
  • Feeling an urge without automatically following it.
  • Having a hard conversation without lying, disappearing, exploding, or running.

Imagine being more present with the person you love.

  • Your children.
  • Your friends.
  • Your work.
  • Yourself.
  • Imagine knowing what matters to you.
  • Having something worth getting up for.
  • Feeling connected to purpose.
  • To people.
  • To yourself.
  • To God.

Imagine putting your head on the pillow at night and knowing:

I showed up for my life today.

Not perfectly. But honestly. Present. Alive.

That is the direction of Ascend.

What you are becoming free for

Your life can become bigger than the thing you are trying to stop.

For a long time, the whole conversation may have been about the problem.

  • The drinking.
  • The drugs.
  • The gambling.
  • The sex.
  • The anger.
  • The avoidance.
  • The lying.
  • The shame.
  • The fear of being seen.
  • The fear of not being what is expected of you.
  • The thing you keep promising yourself you will never do again.
  • The thing you keep promising yourself you will finally do—and do not.

But eventually there is a bigger question.

What are you becoming free for?

To love more deeply. To become a father. To become the father you already know you are. To be present with the people who are yours. To create. To build. To serve. To contribute. To become a man whose word means something. To reconnect with God. To discover what you are here for.

Freedom is not only freedom from something.

It is freedom for something.

If you have already done a lot of work

Maybe you have already tried a lot.

Therapy. Treatment. Recovery. Coaching. Retreats. Spiritual work. Plant medicine.

Maybe some of it changed you.

Maybe you have had experiences where you saw yourself clearly, felt connected to something deeper, and knew your life was going to be different.

And then you went home.

And somehow, over time, parts of your life started looking familiar again.

  • The same relationship patterns.
  • The same avoidance.
  • The same promises to yourself.
  • The same search for relief.
  • The same feeling that you know so much—and still cannot seem to live it.

That does not mean what you experienced was not real.

Maybe the breakthrough did exactly what it was supposed to do. It showed you what was possible.

Now the question becomes: can you live it?

  • Can the love become the way you treat your family?
  • Can the truth become the conversation you finally have?
  • Can the insight become the boundary?
  • Can the self-respect become the decision?
  • Can the prayer become the way you live on Tuesday afternoon?
  • Can what you saw become who you are when nobody is watching?

That is the kind of integration we care about.

The experience

Give yourself 14 days.

Fourteen days away from the momentum of your day-to-day life.

Away from the places, routines, distractions, and automatic patterns that make it easy to keep doing what you have always done.

Not to escape your life. To get enough space from it to see it differently—and long enough to begin living it differently.

Ascend takes place on five acres in South Florida surrounded by nature, open sky, quiet, and room to breathe. The experience is intentionally small and personal.

The maloca's thatched roof seen from directly above, framed tightly by pine canopy.
The pond's surface thick with lily pads, framed by dense canopy on both sides.
  • There is structure.
  • There is community.
  • There is time alone.
  • There are honest conversations.
  • Teaching.
  • Movement.
  • Journaling.
  • Meditation.
  • Spiritual practice.
  • One-on-one support.
  • Experiential work.
  • Time outside.
  • Shared meals.
  • Laughter.
  • Silence.

And, when appropriate for the person, plant medicine may be one of the tools we use.

But the tools are not the point.

The point is what becomes possible when you finally have enough space to hear yourself again.

To notice what happens before the old pattern takes over. To understand what has been running you. To reconnect with what you actually want. To begin keeping your word to yourself. To make choices you respect.

Not simply to talk about living differently.

To practice it.

Sometimes you need to step outside your life long enough to see how you want to step back into it.

How it works

See it. Pause. Choose. Live it.

See it.

Understand what has been running you. Not so you can spend the rest of your life analyzing yourself. So you can finally see the pattern without believing the pattern is you.

Pause.

A thought appears. Fear appears. Shame appears. An urge appears. None of them gets to decide what happens next.

Between the thing arriving and the thing you do, there is a pause. We practice finding it, and staying in it long enough to have a say.

Choose.

Once there is space, there is a question: what do I actually want? Not only right now. For my life. For my relationships. For the man I want to become.

Live it.

Then it has to become action. The truth you tell. The boundary you set. The promise you keep. The way you treat people. The way you care for yourself. The choice you make when nobody is watching.

Insight becomes useful when it becomes the way you live.

What gets rebuilt

Most men arrive not trusting anything.

Not themselves—they have broken too many promises to themselves to believe the next one. Not the process—they have tried enough things that did not hold. And often not God, or at least not the version of God they were handed.

Trust is not something we can give you. It gets rebuilt the way it got broken: slowly, and by evidence.

Trusting yourself.

It starts small. You say you will be at the morning session, and you are. You say the hard thing out loud, and you survive it. You keep one promise to yourself, then another, until your own word starts to mean something to you again.

Trusting the process.

You do not have to believe this will work. You only have to be willing to do it while you find out.

Most men arrive skeptical. That is fine. Skepticism that participates is worth more than enthusiasm that watches.

Trusting God.

Not being told what to believe. Beginning to sense that you are not carrying this alone, and never were.

You do not need to arrive trusting anything.

You only need to be willing to find out what is worth trusting.

Grounded spirituality

Your life has purpose.

Not as a slogan. We actually believe it.

We believe there is something in you deeper than your fear.

Deeper than your conditioning. Deeper than your shame. Deeper than the voice that tells you that you are not enough.

You can call it your soul. Your deeper self. Conscience. Truth. God.

The language may be different. But somewhere inside you is a part that knows there is more to your life than surviving the next uncomfortable moment.

Ascend is about reconnecting with that part of yourself and beginning to let it lead.

Then asking:

  • What do I want my life to be about?
  • Who do I want to love?
  • What do I want to build?
  • What do I want to give?
  • What do I want to stand for?
  • What am I here to contribute?
  • What deserves my devotion?

You do not need to arrive with the answer.

Fourteen days gives you the space to begin asking the question.

From Moishe

Why I built Ascend

Moishe Goldstein, founder of Tikkun Ascend, photographed outdoors beside a creek.

I have been in recovery for more than eighteen years.

Years searching. Years in therapy. Years around treatment and recovery. Years working in the treatment and mental health field—I still do. Years doing spiritual work. Years working with plant medicine.

And years learning the difference between understanding something and actually living it.

I have watched people at Tikkun have profound experiences. I have watched people see things about themselves that were absolutely real.

And what became increasingly clear to me was this:

The breakthrough was not always the part that changed the life.

What mattered was what happened next.

  • Did the insight become honesty?
  • Did it become a boundary?
  • Did it become the way he treated the people closest to him?
  • Did it become the way he showed up for his children?
  • Did it become responsibility?
  • Service?
  • Trust?
  • Purpose?
  • Did it become Tuesday afternoon?

That is what brought me back to the original vision for Tikkun. Enough space, time, teaching and community for the thing you already know to become the way you actually live.

I do not have a perfect life. I am not selling one.

But I have a life today that I once could not have imagined.

I love being alive.

I love my family. I love what I get to build. I know what I believe. I know what I am devoted to. I know I am loved by Hashem.

I still experience fear.

I still experience uncertainty.

Life still does things I do not like.

But I have learned that I do not have to abandon myself when those things happen. I practice that every day.

My hope is not that you become me. My hope is that you get the chance to discover how good your own life can become.

What comes after

Fourteen days is where we begin.

We do not want you dependent on Tikkun. We want you to leave more able to stand on your own feet, make your own choices, and live your own life.

But standing on your own does not mean standing alone.

We believe people need three things:

Purpose.

Something worth living toward.

A framework.

Practices and principles that help you return to what matters when life gets real.

Community.

People who know you and understand the road you are walking.

Every Ascend participant receives eight weeks of weekly integration calls after the residential experience. You stay connected to the men you went through Ascend with. You have a path into the larger Tikkun community. And when deeper one-on-one support is needed, we will help guide you toward the right person—even when that person is not us.

Independence without isolation.

Fit

What could fourteen days open up for you?

You do not have to have everything figured out. You do not have to be completely certain. You do not need perfect motivation.

Someone else may even be the person who first tells you about Ascend. Your wife. A parent. A therapist. A rabbi. A friend.

But eventually the desire has to become yours. You have to want something different for yourself.

Enough to be honest. Enough to participate. Enough to try something different.

Every prospective participant goes through a personal screening process so we can understand where you are and whether Ascend is the right next step.

If you need medical detox, that does not automatically mean Ascend is not right for you. It may simply mean detox needs to happen first in an appropriate medical setting. Ascend does not provide medical detox or acute psychiatric care.

And then there is one question:

Do you want more than the life you have been repeating?

More freedom. More truth. More connection. More purpose. More life.

If something in you says yes, start there.
